MGM Grand Hotel
The MGM Grand hotel is one of the best-known hotels in Las Vegas. It is the largest hotel in the city and has been the largest in the world since 2006.
Since its construction was finished in 1993, the MGM has appeared on tens of television shows. The hotel is especially well known by boxing fans, as the location of some of the most important global boxing events.
The Building
The MGM has 5,034 rooms, but with the suites in the adjacent towers, there are a combined total of almost 7,000.
One of the best things about the MGM Grand is the swimming pool. The hotel has 5 pools, 3 jacuzzis, and an artificial river as well as water parks where they rent out the famous 'yellow donuts'
Wet Republic
As well as the classic pools, the MGM Grand has the Wet Republic, a swimming pool for over 21s where you can have a drink while listening to live music.
This swimming pool has an entry fee, but in the hotel, you can find P.R. reps who will give you a free wristband ticket. And if you get a little tired, there are plenty of lilos and beds where you can lounge out.
Shows
The most important show at the MGM is KÁ, one of the many Cirque de Soleil shows in Las Vegas
